Cinematic Universe is a fortnightly comic book movie podcast brought to you by host Joe Cunningham, and comics experts Seb Patrick and James Hunt. Each episode will look at the latest in comic book and superhero movie and TV news before launching into an in-depth discussion of one film or show.

In a change to our original schedule (enforced by the Fantastic Four review embargo) this week's Cinematic Universe is another bonus episode, in which Joe, Seb and James look back at the 2009 video game Batman: Arkham Asylum. Are the Arkham games the definitive superhero video game experience - or does such a thing even exist? What other games in the genre would we recommend? And do Seb and James have a game idea of their own they can pitch to Joe?

A superhero game I really recommend is Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. You play as four different spider-men all with different powers and techniques and perhaps the most intriguing one is the noir Spider-Man which features stealth gameplay that includes hiding and lowering yourself from lights and such to web up bad guys. Insanely fun gameplay and interesting story which has a lot of cool comic references, despite it not being a sandbox game sadly. Love the podcast keep up the good work.
